Superintendent Annual Goals

Objective 1:

The superintendent will ensure increased student achievement (Strategic Plan Priority Area 1, Academic Excellence) for all students by monitoring the progress and effectiveness of the following:

Annual Measurements:

  1.  Improve the percentage of students who meet or exceed in ELA in 3rd grade from 34% to 39% or better.
  2.  Improve percentage of students who meet or exceed state standards in math in 8th grade math from 31% to 33% or better.
  3.  Increase the percentage of English Learners increasing proficiency by one level from 60% to 70% or better.
  4.  Increase the percentage of students who experience disabilities who meet or exceed in ELA in all grades by 7% or more.

Superintendent Performance Goals:

  • By June of 2026, the percentage of students meeting or exceeding ELA proficiency standards in each grade 3 will increase by at least 5% as measured by the spring Oregon Statewide Assessment System.
  • By June of 2026, the percentage of students who experience disabilities who meet or exceed in ELA proficiency in all tested grades by 7% as measured by the spring Oregon Statewide Assessment System.


Objective 2:

The superintendent will ensure that school environments contribute to the positive health and well-being for all students (Strategic Plan Priority Area 2 & 3, Thriving Students & Safe and Welcoming Schools).

Annual Measurements

  1.  Student Belonging: Increase the percentage of students in grades 6-12 who self-report they feel they belong at their school as measured by the Studer Student Experience Survey.
  2.  Regular Attendance: Increase the percentage of student regular attenders (90% or better), from 73% to 76%.

 Superintendent Performance Goal:

 By June of 2026, the percentage of students who report that “Students at my school are nice and respect each other.” increases by at least 10% as measured by the Studer Student Experience Survey.
