Charging Issues
Plug in the power cord and see if the light next to the power cord turns on. The light is located on the left side of the device. On most of our devices, they have a "Type C" charger (more rectangular plug like what is on most new SmartPhones). If there are Type C ports on both sides, the device can be charged using either one. There is a charging light on one side the when charging should light up orange, red, blue or green. If the light is orange or red, it is in the process of charging. If the light is green or blue, the Chromebook is fully charged. Any color of light is a good sign. If there is no light try plugging the power cord into another outlet and make sure the power cord is fully seated in the power block. If there is still no light, please let your teacher or the office know.
