Dear Parents and Guardians,

As flu season is upon us, we understand that many children may experience minor coughs, tummy aches, and other mild symptoms. While these types of ailments can sometimes be expected during this time of year, it's crucial to know when it's best to keep your child home from school and when they’re well enough to attend.

Your child’s health plays a critical role in their overall well-being and academic success. Maintaining consistent attendance helps ensure that they don't miss out on valuable learning opportunities, but it’s equally important that students stay home if they’re genuinely feeling unwell. This not only aids in their recovery but also helps prevent the spread of illness to others.

We encourage you to monitor your child’s health carefully. If they have a fever, persistent cough, or signs of other contagious illness, please keep them home until they are fully recovered. On the other hand, if they have only minor symptoms and are feeling okay, it’s often best to send them to school. If you're ever uncertain, please don't hesitate to reach out for guidance.

We also understand that prolonged absences can lead to concerns about potential learning loss. If you ever have any worries about your child’s academic progress, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or principal. We’re here to support you and your child, and we will work together to ensure they stay on track.

Thank you for your cooperation, and we wish you and your child great health this flu season!
