The initial "Welcome to Securly" email will come from Securly noreply <noreply@securly.com> and should arrive shortly after parent/guardian accounts are created. The email will look something like the example below and will provide instructions on how to setup the FREE Securly Home App.

It can take 24 - 48 hours for the emails to be sent. Be sure to check your Spam/Junk folder for an email from Securly. After 48 hours, if you have not yet received the Welcome email, please contact your students' school. We may not have your email address listed or it may not be entered correctly.

Yes you will. If you do not wish to receive the weekly report, there is an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the Welcome email.

The weekly activity report of a small random sample your your students activity will be emailed to you every Monday morning with the subject "Your child <name> activity report" and will show the various Searches, Research,  Other Sites Visited, and Watched Videos. If you prefer not to wait for the weekly email, or would like to see a more in-depth report, you can access the Parent Portal by download the HOME app.

There is nothing you have to do! Once your student is enrolled in the Mt. Angel School District AND the Securly parent/guardian lists are updated, you should receive a Welcome email from Securly. Through the Welcome email, you have the option to install the Securly Home app.

Parent/Guardian participation is NOT required, but it is encouraged. In the schools we do the best we can do to protect and to teach our youth about appropriate uses of the Internet, but in order to do this effectively we all need to be active participants. What the Securly Home App provides is a window for the parent(s)/guardian(s) to see what their student is doing online and to provide topics for open discussion.

Participation is NOT required, but encouraged. This is simply a tool that we have made available to you. In the welcome email that you receive, at the bottom click “Unsubscribe”. This will unsubscribe you from receiving the weekly email report.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of  the welcome email that you received. Another option would be to add the report emails to your email spam filter.

No. All students in the Mt. Angel School District are filtered as per our legal requirement.

Download the app from your app store. Tap the Login button adn choose the “Get instant access” option after entering the email registered with the school district. Check your email for an email titled “Your Securly login link”. Click on the link to open the app.

The child’s email address is listed beside each item in the Activity Feed and is in chronological order. To view each child’s activity, click on the drop-down menu that says, “All Activities” and select the child you want to view. Or, just type their email address in the search bar at the top and hit enter.

The school’s network administrator has access to all records. School administrators can be delegated account access to pull records, if necessary.

Securly monitors your child’s online activity while at school, and off-campus if they are using a school-issued device filtered by Securly. Securly collects school-issued email addresses, public IP addresses (available to anyone online), visited websites, searched terms, YouTube videos, and social media posts (if social media is allowed by the school).
